Bibin Thomas and Rijoy Built a Total

Grorud won the toss and chose to bat. It was a knock-out kind of pitch where partnerships mattered, and two of our senior players stood up.

• Bibin Thomas: 45 off 48 (four fours) — the captain’s innings, an unbeaten anchor.
• Rijoy P: 42 off 37 (five fours) — the perfect partner, took the game forward with intent.

Kiran Raj chipped in with a lively 19 off 17 (one four, one six) and Mahesh Das added a quick 7 off 5 at the death. Grorud posted 139/4 — a score that should have been defendable on that surface.

Hisøy Just Snuck Home

Defending 140, our bowlers again created chances but couldn’t quite finish the job. Ajay Kondru’s calm 44 off 44 was the innings that anchored their chase, well-supported by Bashir Ahmad (29 off 32).

The bowling contributions were there:

• Bibin Thomas: 2/24 — the captain leading again with the ball too.
• Rijoy P: 2/13 in 2 overs — a spell that briefly put us on top.
• Renju Kochumman Raju: 2/36 — took two crucial wickets.

Hisøy got over the line at 140/7 with 6 balls to spare. Fine margins.
