A tough season opener at Bærum. Nordlys got away from us in the middle overs, and Asim Safi did the rest with the ball. Plenty to build on from here.

Bowling Was Right There Until One Big Partnership

Grorud won the toss and chose to bowl. For most of the innings we were on top — but Abhishek Patil’s 52 off 37 (four fours, strike rate 140) carried Nordlys past a par score.

Standout with the ball:

• Bibin Devasia: 2-0-6-0 (economy 3.00) — even better on the run rate.

Nordlys ended on 139/7 — a competitive but not out-of-reach total.

The Chase Never Got Going

Asim Safi (4/18 from 4 overs) was the difference. We lost early wickets, never rebuilt the platform, and slid to 20/5 inside 6 overs.

Fighting knocks from:
